ValleyStone Credit Union®'s real estate share account is used as a holding account for mortgage payments. Many people like to establish a fund for this specific purpose and deposit into it weekly. These folks typically have their paychecks direct deposited into either a savings or checking account, and electronically move a weekly sum into this account through Online Anytime. When the monthly mortgage payment is due, they can either manually transfer the funds electronically or arrange for the funds to come automatically out of the real estate share account and be applied toward their mortgage payment. This account is intended as a convenience for ValleyStone Credit Union® members.
